Here at Rebounderz, we know the importance of regular exercise for children, which is why we are proud of our Sunrise trampoline park and all the activities we offer. But we’re just human, and we can’t be active all the time. Sometimes we just want to curl around the television and be entertained. There are a lot of great kids movies out there, but probably not enough time to sift through them all. For your convenience, we’ve listed some of our favorite children’s movies here.
We recommend both the book and the movie, but this is one instance where the movie was respectful of its source material. It’s a heart warming story of Wilbur, a pig on a farm who is all set to be eaten for Christmas dinner. Don’t worry, Wilbur ends up safe and sound, and everybody learns lessons on loyalty, faith, and acceptance in the process.
If you haven’t already seen this movie gem, then put it on your list. Little Nemo the clown fish gets lost in the big wide ocean and his father has to find him. With Ellen DeGeneres as Dory (and a great sequel, Finding Dory also available), there’s no end to the jokes, humor, and adventure in Finding Nemo.
Set in the far future, where the environment is destroyed and humans live on giant spaceships, WALL-E follows the adventures of a long abandoned robot on earth. It’s got action, love, and the savior of the human race all wrapped up into one! A great pick for family movie night.
Do you and your kiddos love animals? Then you’ll love this cult classic. Follow Chance (dog), Shadow (dog), and Sassy (cat) as they are left behind by their owners on vacation. Not knowing what to do, and being the good pets that they are, they set out to find their owners. Overcoming all kinds of obstacles on the way, these characters are sure to provide a night of enjoyment for you and your little ones.
Hayao Miyazaki is a huge name in Japan, and could in a sense be considered the Japanese director version of Disney. Howl’s Moving Castle boasts an all star voice cast (Christian Bayle, Emily Mortimer, Blythe Danner, Lauren Bacall, etc.) and stunning animation. Follow Sophie in a magical world where magicians and witches exist. After getting cursed, forced to live in an old lady’s body, Sophie finds refuge in Howl’s moving castle, the movie’s namesake. Will she be able to break the curse, not to mention solve all the problems spouting up in this magical world? Watch and find out!
Hopefully you’ll be able to enjoy one or more of these great kid’s movies. Here at Rebounderz, we are happy to provide a fun place for kids to expend all of their energy with our Sunrise trampoline park. With kid’s birthday parties, all kinds of events and activities, and of course our trampoline attractions, there’s tons of fun to be had. Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.
