Kid's Birthday Parties

Power Rangers and trampoline jumping just seem to go together. Don’t you think? If your child is a big fan of the rangers, we think a themed birthday party at Rebounderz Apopka will turn out to be one of their happiest and most memorable days.

If you are super crafty, there’s no end to the do-it-yourself Power Ranger ideas you can find. But for those of you who are looking for a one-and-done solution, there are a lot of options for everything from invitations to cake toppers.

We’ve put together some of the theme ideas we’ve seen. We hope to see you and your little Power Ranger at Rebounderz in Apopka soon. As always, we are here to help plan your big day. Give us a call!

The Birthday Boy or Girl

No matter how old your Power Rangers fan is turning, we bet they’d love to be their favorite Ranger for their big day. You’ll want to make sure that any costume or mask doesn’t impede their ability to safely jump on the trampoline. Other than that, the sky’s the limit. We’ve seen birthday girls and boys in shiny Power Ranger Tshirts. There are cute matching leggings and skirts for the girls. And for the boys, a power ranger jumpsuit is a great option.

The Invitations

If you are feeling really creative, you can design and print out power ranger movie-ticket themed invitations. They’re sure to be a big hit. But if you are less crafty than that, you’re sure to find a good assortment of power ranger invitations, stickers and stationery at your local craft store. We’ve seen a few invitations that double as power ranger masks. Those are always a big hit.

The Party Decor

Thanks to the popularity of the new power rangers movie, you’ll find no shortage of power rangers plates, napkins, bowls and table cloths. You can get a lot more creative than that with your decorations though.

For the table, themed pop-up table toppers are a great addition. Consider an inflatable power ranger airwalker to oversee the festivities. Spread an assortment of power rangers ninja power stars on the table to keep little hands occupied and engaged. Save the disk shooters for the goody bag to make sure disks don’t get lost and the little ninjas don’t take things too far.

To set the scene, we don’t think you can do better than an inflatable power ranger airwalker to oversee the festivities.

If you are throwing a party for particularly young Rangers fans, or if there are little brothers and sisters that need to be entertained, a Power Rangers themed coloring book is the perfect activity.

You’ll also find no shortage of themed cake and cupcake toppers. If you are going all out, we’ve noticed that local bakeries are doing some pretty amazing things with Power Ranger themed desserts. We’ve even seen Power Ranger cake pops showing up at some parties!

Power Ranger Goody Bags

Here’s where you can really get creative. Really, there is so much Power Ranger stuff to choose from, you might have trouble deciding. We’ve seen mini light-up Power Ranger swords, temporary tattoos that are sure to please no matter which Ranger is the favorite, and themed pencils that’ll be a hit at school the next Monday. Power Ranger themed bracelets, stickers, and sunglasses are really popular as well. One of our favorites are the mini-toy figurines, available in a variety of action poses. The kids love them!

We hope you like our Power Ranger party ideas. Please give us a call here at Rebounderz Apopka. We’re here to help make sure your trampoline party is a huge success, whatever theme you choose. We look forward to seeing you soon!

What’s better than a trampoline party? A trampoline party with an awesome theme! We’ve put together some ideas for you here complete with goody bag items and dessert options. We love this stuff. If you’ve got other theme ideas, give us a call. Our party planners can help ensure your theme party is a huge hit!

Jump!

Theme everything around the Rebounderz venue. Start with a “Jump into the fun” invitation and bring the theme through everywhere including a cake that looks like a trampoline and goodie bags that include anything from jars of jelly beans or tubes of gumballs with “magic jumping beans” labels to jump ropes. Spring-loaded miniature jumping frogs and bunnies are always a big hit.

Big Top!

A circus themed party fits in great with the fun atmosphere at Rebounderz Apopka. Choose a cake in the shape of a circus big-top or decorated with circus animals and high-wire walkers. Fill goody bags with goofy clown noses, squirting flowers, circus animal lollipops, and big polka dotted bow ties. For an easy add-on that’s always a big hit, include animal crackers in traditional Barnum’s circus boxes. Bring some big-top table toppers and napkins and you’re all set.

Ahoy There Mateys

Everyone likes a good pirate-themed party. Thanks to pirate popularity, this is one party you’ll have no trouble pulling off. You’re sure to find everything from inflatable pirate accessories to pirate tablecloths and treasure-chest themed goodie boxes at your local party store. Trampolining with a pirate eye patch can be a little dangerous, so put those in the goody bag to hand out at the end of the party.

Up Up and Away!

Airplanes or hot air balloons are a great theme for your Rebounderz birthday boy or girl. They’ll be spending a lot of time with their heads in the clouds, bouncing to their hearts content. When the time comes to eat, open presents and share goodie bags. What could be better than airplane-shaped gummy candies, whizzing mini airplanes and up-and-away themed bags? Or if hot air balloons are more your speed, a hot air balloon-shaped cake will be a big hit. Fill those goody bags with hot air balloon charms and squeeze toys. Finally, decorate the table using balloon nets and big helium-filled balloons, and you’ll have a party to remember.

Whatever theme you choose for your Rebounderz party, we’re sure it’ll be a big hit.

Here are a few more tips to help your big day go as smoothly as possible.

Waivers. Paperwork is never fun, especially at a party. So be sure to collect waivers from all of your jumpers before the festivities begin. If you can, collect them all before the big day. That’ll relieve a lot of pressure.

Don’t forget about non-bouncers. If you’ve got parents or older siblings who are staying to help supervise, set up and clean up, be sure you’ve got snacks and beverages available for them while everyone else is jumping.

Bounce first. Schedule your big day so that all of the bouncing is done before food and cake are served. Do we really need to explain this one? Little tummies can be sensitive. Let’s try to keep the food on the inside.

We hope this little list is helpful! We look forward at seeing you at Rebounderz in Apopka on your big day.

Remember when birthday parties were awesome? As adults, most of our birthdays aren’t too memorable. If we even bother to celebrate them, we might go out to dinner, have a glass of wine and we’re in bed by 9:30. While our birthdays might be a bust, the same can’t be said for our children. We all want our kid’s party to be memorable, something that years later, they’ll think back with a smile and say, “Now that was cool.”

But sometimes planning a party can be a major source of stress. You need to figure out who’s coming, when and where it’s happening, and you need to make sure it’s not going to cost you a truckload of money. If you’re having trouble coming up with ideas, or the stress is getting to you, relax. We’re here to help. Keep reading, and we’ll share a few suggestions to help you throw a solid birthday party for your kid.

  • We have good news and bad news for you, and first, the bad news. Picking the theme of the party is absolutely the hardest part. The good news is, picking a theme is a cinch. It’s a fact that every kid has a favorite book, movie, TV show, or song. All you need to do is find out what that is and run with it.
  • Now that you have a theme, shopping for decorations becomes a lot easier. We know, it can be difficult walking into a party supply store and seeing rows upon rows of shiny stuff. But knowing your party theme can help you to focus and avoid spending money on things you don’t need. If you’re doing a popular theme like Pokemon, you’ll frequently find ready-made decoration bundles either at the store or online. They often contain napkins, tablecloths, hats, absolutely everything you need.
  • For most kids, one of their favorite parts of a birthday party it taking home the goodie bag. But before you start to panic, keep in mind that you can create a great bag by just heading to your local dollar store. You don’t have to do a Martha Stewart special. In fact, the party guests will be happy receiving some small treats or little toys, even if they only receive a few things.
  • Party planning is a bit more of a challenge for today’s kids due to dietary restrictions. One guest might have a nut allergy, another might be gluten-free, and another might be sensitive to dairy. The best way to avoid all of that is snacks that are fruits and vegetables. Also, if you remove the skin of a watermelon, cut it in half, and add whipped cream, you’ll get a “birthday cake” that virtually everyone can enjoy.
  • Let’s say you’ve decided to have the party at your local indoor trampoline park (Good choice!). Odds are the kids will bounce around and make their own fun. But if things start to quiet down, here’s a classic trampoline game. Have the kids jump on the trampoline, and give the parents foam balls. The parents, from the sidelines, will throw the balls and try to hit the kids, while the kids have to keep jumping and dodging. When a kid is hit by a foam ball, they’re out, and the last kid standing is the winner. It’s great fun for the kids and a solid way for parents to get their aggression out.
